Come join our team in Roatán and Travel with a purpose!How do I join in on a Volunteer Trip to Honduras with Roatan VoTec?
Volunteer Trips are an awesome way to Open Up Ones World beyond themselves. Serving others is a way to Bless Us. If you have never been part of something bigger than yourself in a foreign country, come give it a try with us. Step out into a new discovery of yourself and expand your possibilities with His talents to share.
1) Say YES and let us know you are coming to help! We will utilize your special unique gifts and place you along side those volunteers in your “sweet spot” to enhance our team and value your talents.
2) Clear your schedule and gather your Pack List items.
3) Send in your deposit to our treasure (Address below) for your expenses.
4) Book your air flight to arrive on to RBT on a Saturday. (We can help schedule you with others traveling on the same day.)
How do I come help out and Volunteer at Roatán VoTec?
- Volunteers typically arrive 3-days before Class for Training, Orientation and Team Meetings and depart 2-days after Graduation on Thursday.
- Volunteers arrive on Saturday afternoon and depart on Saturday afternoon. 14-night trip. 4 days to help with classes and instruction, 2 travel days, and 4 days to have fun and explore the beautiful island.
- Sunday afternoons are free to relax and explore.
- Lodging is typically provided in a 2-person per room with AC.
- Lunch and Dinner Meals are served Family Style with the Team. Breakfast and meals are on your own- on days off.
- Transportation/Airport Transfers is provided. Car Rental agencies are at the airport for rentals if you wish to explore the island on your days off.
- All air travel, excursions, day off meals are your own expense.
I am willing to be an Instructor for a Class. How does that work?
- We will provide a help in preparing a “Training Guide” for the 3-days/5-class hours of skill lessons. Material will be provided per your list of needed items available on the island a week before your arrival. We will help out and guild you through to a successful experience. We welcome all trades and services to train our students.
- A Spanish interrupter will be provided if needed for your class instruction.

What does it cost to come help and be a volunteer on a Missions Trip?
- Please see our Info Flyer with all the info. All activity expenses and air transportation are on your own.
- This trip working at our Vocational Training Center is fully tax deductible and you will be asked to turn in any expenses related to your travel, food, lodging, materials for classes and donations at close of the year for a Donation Receipt for helping with our education training in Honduras.
